We are gifted with the power of words, with which we can
express ourselves, our feelings, joys and sorrows to others. But words are not
only the source of our knowledge about others and their personality. If we care
for and love someone, words may not be necessary. A kindness, a noble deed,
speaks volume of our love. I still remember the days when I was in school. I
hadn’t made any special friends. Suddenly I fell ill and couldn’t go to school
for some days. I just sat at my bed room window and felt lonely. Yet many a
times I wanted someone to talk to. I was feeling bored one afternoon, when
someone knocked at my door. There stood a girl, my classmate. She handed me a
lovely rosebud with a note attached to it,’’ GET WELL SOON’’. Tears welled up
in my eyes. I was so happy I become aware that someone cared for me and missed
me. From that day onwards she has been my best friend. So you see it she hadn’t
come up to me and told me that she really loved me, how could I have know?
Frankly one is quite ignorant or confuse about the thoughts in another person’s
mind. If you really cares for someone, do tell then you may give them hope and
much encouragement to live in this world of strangers. Don’t just hide yourself
behind the mystery caricature of selfishness & ego.
Tell them that you care!
How will they know unless you tell them?
