LOVE AND ORDER
‘’Nobody should teach us how to express love’’ ‘’Someone’’ while reiterating his opposition to ‘V’ day celebration, ‘’nobody should teach us how not to express love’’ could will be the response of the young & young at heart who like to do their own things on Valentines day. According to me there is nothing wrong if sections of Indian youth express their mutual love through greeting cards or at parties. Infact youth may well argue that printing of lakhs greetings cards could even generate jobs. Someone said that v’ day is alien to Indian culture, counter argument could well be that chanting of Hare Rama Hare Krishna by English & American youth subscribing to ‘’ISKCON’’ is alien to western culture. Both are motivated by love, whether of physical or spiritual kind. Someone once prescribed,’’ who can give law to lovers? Love is greater law onto himself’’. In ‘’ The Communication’’ John Donne said, ’’for God sake, hold your tounge, let me love’’. Thomas hardy said, ’’ When shall the softer, saner politics, whom of we dream, have play in each proud land’’
